Havinghad Woody just lace up some SM rims for my XChallenge, and after searching far and wide for a cheaper solution, there's unfortunately no real options aside from the $300+ per hub BMW part. Unless you can find used parts, there's no real cheap way to get a different set of wheels on one of the G650X bikes. My wallet has yet to stop
Oddometer: 161. I'm trying to get the service manual DVD for my BMW G650 Xchallenge; this is my first BMW. The parts counter guy at the dealer where I bought the bike didn't seem to have ever heard of a G650 anything. After a few minutes of looking at his screen he asked, "Uhh, would that be the same as the F650CS?" BMWG650X (All) Shock. The X Country has a traditional coil spring shock; a basic unit with ride height adjustment, giving between 330-338mm length. The 650 X Challenge however has an air shock which is OK for light riding to the shops to get some milk and a paper but not much else.
